One of the best things about Whitefish is the never-ending list of activities to do throughout every season. During the winter, it can be a full day of skiing on the mountain or exploring the backcountry on snowmobiles. When summer rolls around, you’ll be getting out of bed for an early morning tee time at the golf course or a sunrise hike in Glacier National Park. Regardless of what you have planned with your day, we’re sure it's jam-packed. With so much to do, fueling up and doing it fast is important. If you don’t have time to indulge in some of our favorite sit-down breakfast spots like Loula’s or the Buffalo Cafe, check out this list for some of our favorite quick breakfasts to fuel your day.

1. Central Ave Bakery

Located in the heart of Downtown Whitefish, Central Ave Bakery is the perfect spot for a quick but filling breakfast any day of the week. This traditional bagel shop is the best spot for a traditional NY-style bagel breakfast with a vast selection of creme cheeses, toppings, and bagels. This no-frills establishment might not seem like much, but you’re guaranteed to have a fresh and high-quality start to your day.

2. Wrap & Roll

If you're looking for a tasty and satisfying breakfast in Whitefish, Montana, look no further than Wrap and Roll Cafe. This hole-in-the-wall type spot serves up delicious breakfast burritos, wraps, and sandwiches that are perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring the great outdoors. Their website isn’t updated often and their phone lines can get busy, but it is worth stopping in to place an order and walk around downtown whitefish while you wait.

3. Montana Coffee Traders

If Coffee is your priority in the morning, then you have to stop by Montana Coffee Traders. Serving up coffee roasted in-house, their traditional drinks are always fresh and for the more adventurous among us they also offer specialty drinks like the Huckleberry Latte. Their kitchen is open every morning with a large selection of pastries, sandwiches, and my personal favorite - the daily selection of Quiches. They also have a selection of premade food in their to-go case, so if you’re really skilled in snagging in bites at red lights, make sure to stop in there.

4. Crema Coffee Stand

Sitting on Wisconsin Avenue this unassuming coffee stand is also one of the best-kept local secrets - they have the best breakfast burritos in town. These little coffee shacks are found all across the state, just pull up in your car and wait your turn. Crema is a newer addition to Whitefish and its menu of delicious coffee, smoothies, and bakery goods does not disappoint. Order one of their rich coffees made with beans roasted not too far away in Vancouver, Washington and if you’re early enough you have to snag one of their delicious breakfast burritos that is sure to get you ready to go for a full day of activities here in Whitefish.

5. Amazing Crepes

While this may not be an obvious choice for breakfast, Amazing Crepes is a great place to skip the lines and start your day. As you might expect from the name, this centrally located spot specializes in crepes - both sweet and savory. Their menu features a wide variety of options, from classic Nutella and banana crepes to savory options like the French Onion or Mediterranean crepe. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can even create your own crepe with your choice of fillings. They also have gluten-free options so if you have any dietary restrictions, just talk to the staff.
